Director of Finance ~Caribbean

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial management in the hospitality industry.

• The Director of Finance will fully develop and manage operating and capital budgets of the Caribbean Resort. 
• The Director of Finance  will be responsible for daily accounting operation oversight at the Caribbean Resort. 
• The Director of Finance will produce timely and accurate Financial Reporting at the Caribbean Resort. 
• The Director of Finance will manage payables in coordination with Executive Committee.
• The Director of Finance will develop, implement and enforce operational procedures at the Caribbean Resort. 
• The Director of Finance will participate in Sales Strategy Team to develop and monitor revenue streams at the Caribbean Resort. 
• The Director of Finance will lead Procurement Office to establish shipping / receiving of all opening inventories at the Caribbean Resort. 
• The Director of Finance will provide guidance to General Manager on financial and operational control concerns.
• The Director of Finance will develop and maintain a set of daily and weekly operational and cost data to track spend on payroll, cost of sales and other expenditure against budget and against updated forecast performance, and communicates this appropriately to the Management team at the Caribbean Resort.
• Proficient in MS Office and various accounting software. 
• Caribbean Experience preferred
• Single Status Candidates preferred
• Remote island experience would be an asset.
• Reporting to the General Manager with additional reporting to the VP of Finance/ Regional Controller.
