General Manager ~ Construction
Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a Senior level position in the Construction Industry.
- The General Manager would be responsible for the overall leadership and management of operational and administrative functions of the Construction Company.
- The General Manager would support the President and Directors to implement the Construction Company strategic vision and is accountable for its results.
- The General Manager would implement Company policies and management systems.
- The General Manager would be the main spokesperson for the Executive within the policies and objectives agreed by the Caribbean Construction Company.
- The General Manager would represent the Caribbean Construction Company with all business associates; clients; and other personnel on matters relating to all business activities including developing business relationships, potential contacts and may assist with the negotiation of contracts.
- The General Manager would manage all staff and resources within the Construction Company, including sourcing additional resources as required and in accordance with the business plan and approved budgets.
- The General Manager would manage the scheduling of work activities and monitor to ensure completion against targets.
- The General Manager would provide monthly status/progress reports, together with periodic and ad hoc reports to the Board of Directors and President as required.
- The General Manager would identify new business opportunities on behalf of the Caribbean Construction Company.
- The General Manager would prepare annual and interim budgets required to achieve business and operational plans and targets and monitors same at the Caribbean Construction Company.
- The General Manager would maintain and implement cost control measures to meet contract budgets and identify initiatives to improve the overall profitability of the Caribbean Construction Company.
- The General Manager would review all tender documents, in conjunction with the Commercial and Construction Departments, and assist in the final review and submission of tenders.
- Reporting to the President, Directors and Shareholders
- Must have strong administrative skills
- 80/20 split between office/site

- Salary USD $ 80,000 to $90,000 Annually (Based on Experience)
