Senior CAD Technician Marine ~ Houston – Florida

Minimum of 10 years’ working experience required working as a Senior CAD Technician. CAD Technician is to provide support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams. Projects may include bulk material handling facilities, bridge structures, cargo yards and cruise terminals. The incumbent will typically work with Junior Engineers, Engineers, Sr. Engineers, Principal Engineer, and VP of Engineering in day-to-day activities.

10+ years of experience in CAD drafting and design
CAD Tech must have a working knowledge of marine and heavy civil structures
Proficient in AutoCAD and other related software
Experience with AutoCAD 3D is a plus and MicroStation plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Accurate bookkeeping of CAD-related project files along with Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
CAD Technician to work collaboratively with Engineers and Project Management team members
Locations; Virtual/remote work two days a week

$36 USD – $40 USD Per Hour
