Minimum of 10 years’ experience working within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Quantity Surveyor to be in conjunction with the Commercial Manager be aligned the procurement schedule in respect to materials and subcontractor requirements with regards to timelines in line with the project programme.
Quantity Surveyor is to prepare and maintain subcontractor tender schedules
Prepare and issue subcontractor tender documents.
Prepare and send out subcontract prequalification documents.
Preparing bid levelling for submitted tenders.
Prepare and maintain schedule for tracking actual cost against allowances.
Prepare Valuations for subcons.
Assist with preparing of valuations to the client.
Produce Value / Cost reports on a monthly basis.
Prepare change orders as necessary
Review CVI’s and RFI’s to determine if there is a cost involved.
Prepare contractual correspondence for client or subcontract related issues as necessary.
Assist with the preparation of weekly cashflows
Quantity Surveyor is to report to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for commercial agreements and financial controls. Must have a clear understanding of safety and display protocols to subcontractors at all times. Must work well within a team and excellent communication skill.

Salary $72K to $96K USD NET (depending on level of experience)
