MEPF Coordinator ~Caribbean
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MEPF maintenance with field experience in one of the related MEPF disciplines.
- Must be fluent in English
- Certifications in relevant MEP or Project Management. LEED certification would be a plus.
- Must have strong leadership and people management skills to lead a team of technicians and subcontractors.
- Experience working on commercial properties and F & B Outlets.
- The MEPF Coordinator would supervise and coordinate the activities of all technicians and contractors and rprovide guidance, training, and support at the Caribbean property.
- The MEPF Coordinator will be fostering a positive and productive work environment at the Caribbean property.
- The MEPF will be managing reactive and preventative MEPF maintenance services including kitchens and will be scheduling and assigning service calls to technicians and contractors efficiently at the Caribbean property.
- The MEPF will be monitoring job progress and ensure timely completion of tasks, maintaining quality standards in service delivery and addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly at the Caribbean property.
- The MEPF Coordinator will be creating electronic records, administering and managing the service and record process using Maintenix software and seek service improvements with review, recommending and implementing of software to enhance service performance and efficiency.
- •The MEPF would be using and overseeing the use of Building Management Systems (BMS). Seek improvements in its utilization and development.
- The MEPF would be obtaining quotes, reviewing costs and recommending efficiencies, working closely with accounts department, Maintenance Manager and Chief Operations Officer at the Caribbean property.
- The MEPF would be overseeing capital improvement projects as they relate to MEPF including elevator upgrades, small fit-out projects, kitchen upgrades and chiller replacements at the Caribbean property.
- Receiving new building, participating in testing, commissioning and training for new installations.
- Maintaining inventory records of tools, equipment, and spare parts necessary for MEPF service and repair.
- Regularly assessing tool and equipment condition and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed and coordinating with procurement department to ensure timely acquisition of required tools and parts.
- Developing and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize loss or theft, working with Inventory supervisors.
- The MEPF would be conducting regular audits of inventory to reconcile discrepancies and optimize stock levels and enforcing safety protocols and procedures at the Caribbean property.
- Investigating and reporting any accidents or safety violations and Interacting with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
- The MEPF would be providing assistance and guidance in choosing appropriate solutions and handling escalated customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion and recommending improvements to service offerings based on customer feedback.
