General Manager – Florida, USA General Manager with an F&B Background. Candidate must have experience within the tourism industry working Parks (Concessionaires). The portfolio consists of Four Parks located along the coast, with Four Restaurants which would be under your supervision. Ideally, candidates would be located in the Florida area and must be either a US Citizen OR has the right to work in the USA.
Fantastic opportunity for the GM to undertake the management of this operation and develop it to its full potential. The GM will work closely with each State Park Manager and is responsible for implementing their vision within the Concessionaire services.
Responsibilities:
Creating and implementing the Group Strategic Plan
Developing operational plans, managing assets and resources
Establishing and maintain relationships with current and potential vendors and state representatives
Function as key spokesperson of the organization and oversees business development and income diversification activities and opportunities
Create, improve, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company
Drive partnerships and initiatives that create a strong leadership position within the ecotourism sector, the wider tourism industry, and across diverse stakeholders; deliver high value for members and positions for growth
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business, or work experience equivalent
Minimum 10 years of management experience including extensive food & beverage and tourism experience
Ability to take a 5-million-dollar company and double its size in the next 3-4 years
