The Finishing/Aftercare Manager reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for managing all Finishing & handover activities on high end projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist project managers with production of internal punch/snag lists
Manage the close out of punch items on site
Coordinate procurement of all items required to close out punch list
Review plans, specifications, RFIs and instructions and establish if punch list items are in scope or extras (full QS assistance and support given)
Coordination of Operation and Maintenance Manuals and As-builts- both internal and produced by subcontractors
Liaise with Clients FFE/guest services team to coordinate access for tradesmen after building occupancy
Be main point of contact for Client rep/Engineering/Facilities managers and oversee projects after substantial completion and throughout the defect’s liability
Required:
Trade qualified carpenter, electrician, or related discipline
Minimum 6 years in a similar role
Project/facilities management or building maintenance experience.
Finishing Experience for high end residential/hotel projects in the Caribbean
Experience in a client facing role
Experience using Procore, Project Management Software
