Financial Controller ~ Caribbean

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality financial management.

• The Financial Controller will be responsible for executing and/or coordinating general accounting and related activities at the Caribbean Resort.
• The Financial Cont will supervise the operations of the account’s office and Night Audit at the Caribbean Resort.
• The Financial Controller will prepare end of month journals and conduct the Closing process. 
• The Financial Controller is responsible for supporting and liaising with the General Manager of the Caribbean Resort in meeting the strategic goals.
• The Financial Controller is responsible for preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, operating results.
• The Financial Controller is responsible for verifying all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulations.
• The Financial Controller must be able to effectively implement all accounting policies and procedures at the Caribbean Resort.
• The Financial Controller mst be able to ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard the Caribbean hotel assets.    
• The Financial Controller will ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained at the Caribbean Resort.
• The Financial Controller will overseeing the Payroll process at the Caribbean Resort.
• CPA Certification (CA, CGA or CMA)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visual One and IQware accounting software
• The Financial Controller will repart directly to the Group Financial Controller
• Must have Caribbean and hospitality experience.
