The successful applicant must have the technical experience for solving design solutions and can work unsupervised in the preparation and issuing of electrical design construction drawings. He/she must be fully conversant with the USA National Electrical Codes and Regulations It is imperative that the successful applicant is competent in using AutoCAD in the design of: – Power generation and distribution incorporating normal and emergency power supply; Communication, Multi-Media and Data Systems (television, telephone, public address systems, etc); Lighting Protection; Life Safety and Security Systems (inclusive of Fire Alarms and Sprinkler Systems), performing electrical calculations, sizing equipment and performing computer analysis of alternate systems.
 

General requirements:-

• Degree in Electrical Engineering obtained from a recognized University
• Minimum of 5 (five) years proven track record on design projects for condominium complexes, hotels, hospitals, commercial and industrial facilities and private residential dwellings
• Proven track record within a consulting engineering company
• Proficient in using the latest version of AutoCAD software and other design software
• Ability to develop designs from initial schematic stages through to completion
• Ability to work unsupervised and technical experience for solving design solutions
• Fully conversant with the USA National Electrical Codes and Regulations
• Good communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English

Preference will be given to candidates who possess professional membership of his/her respective Engineering Council/Institute.
